HBA AMSTERDAM AND HBA BASEL PRESENTS

The Missing X - Tackling inequalities in women's health

IMPORTANT: The Healthcare Businesswomen's Association (HBA) requires that all persons who participate in in-person events do so at their own risk and that each participant agrees to the following agreement prior to taking part in the activity and urges all participants to act in such a manner as to protect their own safety and the safety of others.

By registering for this event, I fully understand that my participation in the program is purely voluntary. I desire to participate and agree to act in a reasonable and prudent manner under the circumstances. I further understand that any HBA volunteers participating in the activity will be acting in an individual capacity only and will not represent the HBA. As a condition to my participation in the activity, I waive and release the HBA and their officers, employees, and agents from any claim that I may have for any damage to property or injury to my person that may result in whole or in part from my participation.

For too long, women have been overlooked in healthcare. Fundamental inequities within health systems have a detrimental effect on the diagnosis, treatment and care that women receive. This needs to change!

The HBA Basel and HBA Amsterdam chapters are joining forces with Roche's XProject to challenge the current thinking and status quo in women’s health. Join us, when we discuss with top-notch experts from across the healthcare ecosystem how to address persistent barriers that stop women from receiving the care they deserve. During the conversation, we will shed light on some astonishing inequities, explore how innovation and collaboration are needed to create change, and discuss the important role that empowering women plays.

For those who can join us in person in Basel, an interactive workshop takes place after the panel discussion to exchange, share and ideate around the role different actors in health systems play to ensure the female X chromosome isn’t missing anymore.

The event is available virtually from anywhere and in person in Basel, Switzerland. Register to reserve your seat as space is limited.
